Bucket List : South Africa and more of the Far East.

Destination Expertise

Kenya

One of my most precious memories is traveling from Mombasa to Nairobi on a sleeper train and waking up to views of the savanna with giraffe running alongside the train, my words would not do justice to the magnificent beauty of that train journey. I was also lucky enough to witness the wilder beast migration from The Serengeti (Tanzania) into The Maasai Mara (Kenya). We sat in the jeep for 20 minutes watching the wilder beast not even noticing the lion skulking in the bushes until it jumped out and went in for the kill! I felt like I was in a David Attenborough documentary. Kenya has more to offer then Safari. Try one of the luxurious hotels along the Mombasa coastline where you will find some of the best beaches in the world.

India

A amazingly diverse country that has so much to offer, from the hair raising hairpin bends on the mountain roads to Kashmir in the north to the glorious beaches of Goa in the south. The sights, sounds and smells of the bustling cites of Mumbai and Delhi will enthrall the most jaded of travelers. For awe inspiring beauty you have the Pink City of Jaipur or the unforgettable Taj Mahal in Agra. For the ultimate in relaxation nothing better then a Beach Spa holiday in Kerala where you can be pampered with eco friendly homeopathic treatments.

United States of America

I trekked across America from Denver to Las Vegas, putting up a tent every evening and packing it up the next morning! Although camping is not something I would choose to do again, this was one of the best trips I have ever done. From white water rafting on the Colorado River, exploring Mesa Verde and its ancient civilisation to helicopter flights over (and through!) The Grand Canyon. One of the highlights for me was horse riding through the Native American Reservation. Watching the sun set over the red rocky terrain was like being in an old western movie.
